Successful Ukraine 2024 Business Forum – spotlight on the healthcare round table

Under the patronage of the President of the French Senate, Gérard Larcher, this first international business forum devoted to Ukraine was held on 12 July at the Palais du Luxembourg, in the presence of Oleski Sobolev, Ukraine’s First Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs.

Following France’s announcement of a series of support measures for Ukraine combining responses to urgent needs and long-term prospects, as well as financing solutions and sharing of technical expertise, the time has come for operational implementation.

The Forum, organised by Business France and the French Senate, highlighted the challenges in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure and health, and presented a coherent set of financial tools tailored to the needs of the 200-plus companies in attendance wishing to invest in Ukraine: FASEP, concessional loans, BPI war risk guarantees and a new 200 million donation fund to finance projects with an immediate impact…

The round table devoted to health: ‘🇺🇦 Ukraine – A health system faced with the challenges of conflict’, brought together the following panellists, with Arnaud Fleury as moderator for the day.

Julien DELPECH, Ukraine’s contact for French Healthcare Association
Antoine PEIGNEY, Director of the Health Department for Expertise France
Xavier LANNUZEL, Director of the Health Department for Groupe Ginger
Nicolas FOURNIER, Managing Director at Dessintey

Once again, French Healthcare Association members turned out in force, with over 50 of our members registering.

French Healthcare Association is currently involved in around ten large-scale projects in Ukraine and is continuing its commitment to helping the local population.
