French Healthcare Association, the AFD and Foch Hospital meet the Egyptian Health Authority and the Egyptian Ministry of Health

The association met with a delegation from the Egyptian Health Authority and the Egyptian Ministry of Health, together with AFD. The Egyptian delegation visited the Foch Hospital, renowned for its excellence.

French Healthcare Association, represented by its Managing Director Emile Jockey, and the French Agency for Development (AFD), met with a delegation of Egyptian officials from the Egyptian Health Authority and its Ministry of Health.

These exchanges come after two days dedicated to strengthening French-Egyptian relations, during which the President of the association, Jean-Pierre BOFFY, came to represent French Healthcare Association and share his expertise on the Egyptian healthcare market, at the Business Forum on Egypt at Business France, in the presence of the President of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and the Minister of Health.

The delegation also visited the Foch hopital, rrenowned for its international expertise. Representatives from the Egyptian health authority and the Ministry of Health discussed a range of medical topics with hospital professionals, paving the way for promising future collaborations.
The hospital is looking to expand its international partnerships to encourage innovation in healthcare, with the support of French healthcare companies operating internationally.

This meeting gave the association’s General Delegate the opportunity to highlight the expertise held by the hospital and to showcase the strength of the French Healthcare network demonstrated by the joint mobilisation of the Health Ministry, the AFD and French Healthcare.

More generally, the delegation expressed its desire to deepen French-Egyptian cooperation in the field of health, in particular to strengthen the reform of the Egyptian health system.
