On September 30, 2021, the American Hospital of Paris launched the Medical Talent by American Hospital of Paris program, in partnership with African hospitals.
Through its program, the American Hospital of Paris supports doctors from local clinics in their expertise, by operating eligible patients on-site and in pairs.
The partnerships set up with African hospitals allows patients to benefit from the quality of local hospital infrastructures and optimal medical care thanks to the sharing of skills around innovative techniques, in addition to a particularly positive impact on the well-being of the patient treated directly in his country.
This program aims to reduce the number of patients traveling abroad for treatments that can be carried out locally and to strengthen the visibility of African hospitals among local populations while supporting the medical teams on-site for the use of innovative surgical techniques.
From November 22 to 26, 2021, the first urology operations will be performed at the Polyclinique internationale Sainte Anne-Marie (PISAM) in Abidjan.
