2020, A CHALLENGING YEAR
As for all of us, the health crisis in 2020 has brought some unexpected and long-lasting challenges along the way for the French Healthcare Association. The challenge was considerable: to continue to federate an ecosystem of French healthcare companies and health institutions, to promote French healthcare expertise internationally, despite closed borders and the impossibility of bringing people together in person.
To meet the challenge, the association has developed actions presented in this activity report: highlighting French companies that can be mobilised in response to the pandemic, increasing the number of opportunities for remote commercial contacts, new publications presenting French know-how, creation of new services for the exposure of our health establishments.
Our meetings with our members – working group meetings, webinars, pitch sessions with buyers, committees, etc. – although now more “video” rather than “face-to-face”, have not been disrupted and have been highly successful. – We thank you all for your participation and are pleased to announce that we have a larger membership at the end of 2020 than in 2019.
2021 brings the hope of a progressive but upcoming recovery of international activities and meetings as we knew them. More than ever, we believe in the strength of the collective to carry out our actions: services to members, reinforcement of the health sector, promotion of the French offer, and the life and growth of the association.
Members, future members, partners: we call on the French health stakeholders to join the dynamics of our beautiful association and to take advantage of the opportunities it offers.
