Strengthening of the collaboration between France and Kenya in the field of Health

French Healthcare Association is glad to announce its future collaboration with the Kenya Healthcare Federation, with the goal of fostering the development of relationships between French and Kenyan healthcare organizations, sharing the same vision and mission toward high quality and affordable healthcare.

The Kenya Healthcare Federation is the Health Sector Board of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), and it promotes public-private partnerships by working with care providers, hospitals and manufacturers to improve the overall access to quality healthcare in Kenya. Numerous health organizations such as Biomérieux, Bayer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson are members of KHF, alongside professional associations and institutional associations.

The productive exchange between Kenya Healthcare Federation’s CEO, Anastasia Nyalita, and the Executive Director of the French Healthcare Association, Johanna Lerfel has led to an agreement that the opportunity of such a partnership could bring high value to the +270 members of the French Healthcare Association and the +160 members of the Kenya Healthcare Federation, by setting up initiatives such as presentation sessions on needs and opportunities, visits and delegations, or events to share best practices.

A delegation from the Kenya Healthcare Federation, alongside some of its members, including the Kenya Dental Association, the Karen Hospital, Africa Biosystems and Medsource Group, will be present at the French Healthcare Innovation & Business Forum on the 19th and 20th of September 2022 in Paris. This event will be the opportunity to officialize the partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding between our two organizations.
