The French Healthcare Health Club in Vietnam is relaunching in Ho Chi Minh City after a 2-year hiatus

Launched in January 2018 in cooperation with the Vietnamese Minister of Health, French Healthcare Vietnam had until April 2020 organized and launched several projects, events and conferences on several subjects: innovation, financing, regulations, and medicines.

After a two-year break due to the covid-19 pandemic, French health actors in Vietnam are remobilizing to relaunch activities.

The ceremony took place on November 24 at the premises of the French-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce in the presence of the Consul General, Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser, accompanied by the new Health and Social Development Cooperation Attaché of the French Embassy, Gilles Angles, Adam Koulaksezian (Director of the CCIFV), Yann Frollo de Kerlivio (Area Director at Business France), co-pilots of the project as well as several representatives of French healthcare companies in Vietnam.

Under the impetus of its two new industrial co-pilots Ségolène Gourdien from the Aguettant laboratories and Paul Basson from the URGO group, the club is relaunching with a new structure housed at the CCIFV, still with the support of French Healthcare, French Healthcare Association, and Business France as an institutional co-pilot.

The members will pursue the missions of promoting French health expertise in Vietnam and thus perpetuate medical cooperation between the two countries, in particular on the occasion of the 50 years of Franco-Vietnamese diplomatic relations in 2023, around the following projects:

• Proper use of medication: Facilitate the exchange of knowledge, the development of skills and the sharing of French expertise on the proper use of medication, its price and its reimbursement policy. – Project Leader: Sanofi/Servier

• Pharmacy of tomorrow: Promoting the pharmacy and the role of the pharmacist, supporting and assisting the various players in the transformation of the retail health market. – Project Leader – Olivia MARGUERITTE​ (Business Unit Head​ Urgo Healthcare Laboratories​)

• HealthTalk: Involve French experts in various fields such as e-health, data management or access to innovation. – Project leaders: Ségolène GOURDIEN (Chief Operating Officer​ Laboratoire Aguettant), Paul BASSON​ (General Manager​ Laboratoire Urgo Medical)

• French Expertise: Highlighting French excellence for the benefit of patient safety and care in Vietnam by sustaining public and private collaborations. – Project Leader: Pierre JEAN-FRANÇOIS​ (Health Development Manager​ French Healthcare​)
